This is so above my head it's not funny. I have an aircraft Takeoff Distance Table that specifies the resulting takeoff distance after computing:
1. Takeoff weight
2. Temperature
3. Field elevation, ie, Altitude.
For example:
6,144 lbs takeoff weight
80ºF
1548 field elevation (Altitude on the chart)
The resulting takeoff distance should be interpolated as 3,497 ft. from the Takeoff Distance Table if my math is correct, which is frequently not.
My dilemma is, from this chart, interpolate Takeoff Weight, interpolate Altitude, and interpolate Outside Air Temperature, to get the interpolated actual takeoff distance.
I've tried different variations of VLOOKUP, triangulation, all kinds of nested formulas that don't even come close to my calculated takeoff distance.
Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be most appreciated.
