    Conditional Format to fill whole cell

    Hey guys, I am trying to get the cells in column C to to 'fill' red if -1, and green if 1.
    I have trying this with the conditional formatting but havent had any success, can some help me understand what's tripping me up?

    I had tried to format the cell fill and the font format to be the same color, but that didnt work.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, please see the attached file for better clarity. Thanks a ton.

    Cell value --> equal --> -1 --> fill red
    Cell value --> equal --> 1 --> fill green

    See attached.

    Thanks Ace, but unfortunatly, its still shows the font as black - I would like the entire cell to be one solid color.
    Is that something doable in cond format?

    Try this...

    -1 -- Fill red as well as font red
    1-- Fill green as well as font green
