I have two spreadsheets. Spreadsheet 1 contains name and ss# and spreadsheet 2 contains name, ss# and mailing address. My identifier is the ss# and I need to pull the addresses in from spreadsheet 2 to 1.

I'm using the ss# as the identifier since both list don't have the same amount of employee's. Both list have ss# and I need to pull the address once I match them up to one list.

As Spencer suggested, it seems a vlookup would work in your situation.

FYI: Keep in mind a Vlookup is usually used to lookup a value from left to right, not vice versa, but with a modification right to left can work also.
