Hello everyone. I am trying to execute a formula in excel but cannot figure it out, or decipher the correct setup for my application based on a google search of potentially appropriate functions. I am trying to make a formula that gives me a count of the number of cells that say "Yes" in F3:F150, and at the same time in column D3:D150, have a value of "M" OR "F". Originally I just started with the "Yes" condition and used this formula: COUNTIF(F3:F150,"yes") and it worked great. But it later became necessary to include *** into my analysis. However, for this particular formula I don't care if the *** is M or F, just that the *** has been determined and a value is present in the specified column (AKA an M or F is present in D3:D150). Can anyone help me out? Thanks for your time.
