Apperance of selected items from drop down list in different cell

    Hi everybody,
How I can make the TIME in J column with associated drop down list also in J (aircraft types) to appear at desired columns R, T and V without changing the time value in J.
Example is attached. Any tips or help....
    Thanks in advance

You wouldn't be able to select a time and an aircraft, independent of each other, in the same cell. You'd need an additional DV dropdown list or another way to indicate the aircraft.

    Hi there,
My wish is to select the aircraft and that time to appear at cell corresponding with that type.
..... 4:40 for 738 to appear 738 column for that date

    I understand...
However, the DV cells currently contain a time value.
As soon as you select an aircraft, the time is replaced with the selection...so you lose the time.

One approach would be to insert a column after time to select the aircraft.
Then, the cells under CPT could contain a formula that displays the Col_J time only when the corresponding aircraft is selected.

    see attached workbook.

Is that something you can work with?

    Thanks a lot.
I was thinking not to add additional column but in this scenario everything is working as it should.
When I will finished I will put SOLVED and attached finished table.
    Thanks one again.
