Hi I am stump by this problem for a while now,
I researched various way of approaching it but none to my satisfaction.

The first problem I have is I have a spreadsheet of data that has 16 people's name in it repeatedly for 6000ish files that they are responsible for. Then there are 4 columns which are the criteria, with data input of Y/N.
I want to have preferable in pivot table format or table format to show the numbers of files under each name that fits various criteria such as first column Y, then second column is N etc...
I know you can probably do a countif but it seems impractical.
Is there someway to simplify it into a table form?

The second problem I have is I have 1 column of file numbers that are of interest, a 2nd set of data consists of sequential file numbers pulled from the Internet with another column of file status attached to it.
How can I make it so I can merge all 3 columns together to have the file numbers that are of interest with it's file status attached to it.

I would really appreciate the help for a newbie like me.
