    Excel 2007 SUMIFS Multiple Spreadsheets

    Hi,
I inherited a spreadsheet with a plethora of formulas, and I'm trying to re-engineer some of them because they aren't totalling correctly and I've modified some data. I haven't done formulas in ages, and used to have people who are good at this who could do them for me, lol.

My second worksheet (1C_Data_Migration_Details) has all the data from my work status/progress; column E has the DIR sizes in GB, column N has the DIR status, and Q the project wave. I need to have my Dashboard worksheet (1B_EXE_DashBoard) total colum E according to Wave and Status. I know it's not working, because my 8 DIRs that are In Progress for Wave 02 count 8 with 24.3Gb total size...below, it's totalling at 52.666Gb.

This is where I've ended up, based on the limited information I've been able to dig out of here and Google:
    =SUMIFS('1C_Data_Migration_Details'!$E4:E3000,'1C_Data_Migration_Details'!$N4:N3000,"02 - In Progress",'1C_Data_Migration_Details'!$Q4:Q3000,"Wave 02")
It of course is giving me errors. I was able to fix the others, but this is frustrating!

    Thanks,
    D-

Re: Excel 2007 SUMIFS Multiple Spreadsheets

Your formula is correct and if you apply the correct filters to column N and Column Q and sum total column E, you willl find that it is indeed 52.666

The one thing I noticed however is that the formula in the preceing row considers rang only till Row 1922 and not 3000

you need to ascertain your range of data for which you want the SUMIFS to work and change accordingly
    Life's a spreadsheet, Excel!
