Need to pull data from another work sheet

I've had an issue that I haven't been able to figure out.

I have one worksheet that has Patient ID and Invoice ID as two separate columns. On another worksheet I have just Invoice ID (along with some other data fields). For the second worksheet, I need to copy over the respective Patient ID for each Invoice ID. How can I do this?

Let's assume on sheet1 column A displays Patient ID and column B displays Invoice ID. Then for the second worksheet column A displays invoice ID, you should use this function and copy it down:

Sorry I didn't expand upon this point.

The Invoice IDs in Column A of both worksheets do NOT match up. What I need the second worksheet to do is to reference worksheet #1 and look for the matching Invoice ID (whcih could be on any row in column A) and then bring back the Patient ID (located next to it one worksheet #1, in column B) back into worksheet #2 into the blank Patient ID cell.
