IF Function that will work out .222

    spreadsheets.JPG

    Hi

In colum I - i need to have this trimmed so that it reads 2671 only leaving the .2222 out. I also need colum J to read 2. The formula I am currently using isn't working, see below. Can anybody give me the correct formula to use?

    =IF(H3*E3=D3,0,D3/F3)

    =IF(D3<F3,D3/G3,0)

    Re: formula

Please take a moment to read the forum rules and change your thread title.

    In the meantime, maybe:

    =ROUND(IF(H3*E3=D3,0,D3/F3),0)

Providing an actual sample workbook is more helpful than a picture as the solutions can be tested on your data.

    Re: formula

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES and with six posts you should really know this. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
