    Cell Location for Calculation

Is it possible to use a written cell location for a calculation. For instance, in the A1 cell its written D5, then I can use the D5 location for the calculation.
For example, =(A2-???A1) whereby it really means (A2-D5).

With D5 in A1, you can use this formula:

    =A2-INDIRECT(A1)

    Hope this helps.
