strange problem with conditions in Sumproduct

The columns O and G contain only Dates. I do not understand how a greater date minus a smaller date can be negative
I have to make sure I am not making a mistake here.

I solved the problem by adding a 0 to each array. E.G. instead of $G$2:$G$7000 I wrote $G$2:$G$7000+0.
The needed hint came from "daddylonglegs" in a other thread.
