Im trying to multiply and add times.
For instance, cell F5 has value of 08:29 which represents the time that an employee works in one day.
If the employee works the same shift for 5 consecutive days then I would like to have the total time worked placed in cell F6 (In theory I could do this by either having F5*5 or F5+F5+F5+F5+F5).
I would like to see the value of 43:05 in cell F6 which would represent 43 hours and 5 minutes worked.
However, whether I do multiplication or addition, Excel gives me the value of 19:05 because it rolls over from 23:59 to 00:00.
Is there a way to show the total time elapsed without having the rollover effect?
Thanks for your help
