    Displaying 0-Jan-00 Instead of Blank

    **Post title is wrong...it should read Displaying Blank instead of 0-Jan-00 **

    I am taking the data from a cell in worksheet (same workbook) and using it in another worksheet. I want the cell to be blank instead of showing "0-Jan-00". Right now the formula reads:

    =PSR!F9 and "0-Jan-00" is displayed.

    When the date is entered on the "PSR" worksheet in cell F9, I need it show up in cell I8 on the "PO LOG" worksheet.

    But when there is no date entered, I need it to display blank instead of 0-Jan-00.

    cpearson1982,

    Welcome to the forum!
    You could change the worksheet option to not display zero values in cells,
    or you could adjust the formula:

    Hope that helps,

    Try custom formatting the I8 cell on the "PO LOG" worksheet

    Select cell > Right-click > Format > custom > in the box type

    d-mmm-yy;;

    You must include the semi-colons at the end
    Audere est facere

    It made the cell blank but now it is not taking the data from the PSR sheet. It stays blank when I input the data.
