How do I allow for skipping lines between dates??

I have attached my worksheet. Thanks to all for the information that has allowed me to even get the formulas to populate the TOTAL TIME ON DUTY and PRIOR TIME OFF cells, they work great as long as no lines are skipped. However, there are more items per day that need to be entered in the Activity section of the form so sometimes a line or 2 may be skipped before starting the next day or shift and I am at a loss on how I could allow for that. Any help in doing this would be very greatly appreciated.
