calculate labor cost of different staff members with different labor rates using 1 formula

I am trying to set up a column that can use one formula (i assume it's some sort of "multiply if" formula....) to calculate the labor cost of different staff members with different labor rates. the attached sheet highlits the cell i need the formula to go into.

I need this formula to multiply the correct labor rate (B8:B11) by the hours worked (D15:D100) depending on which staff name is in Column C15:C100--- i want it to see A8:A11 and use the corresponding labor rate from B8:B11.

    any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Dave

    In cell E15, type
    =D15*(VLOOKUP(C15,$A$8:$B$11,2,FALSE))

    Copy down
