I have a spreadsheet where column A is blank and column B contains thousands companies. I would like column A to give a display a number which is the count of how many times the company is mentioned in column B, how do i do this? Thanks for your help
try
=COUNTIF($B$1:$B$xx,$B1)
then drag down (xx is your end of range)
