    Tracking Mileage

I have a page in Excel to keep my work mileage. In coloum C is the 'From' field (where I'm starting) and coloum D is where I'm going to ... the 'To' field. In colum H is the total miles driven. Then at the bottom of colum H is the total of the miles driven for that month. How can I search thru the two colums to find "HOME" and then not add that mileage to the total? Hopefully I can attach a portion of the page so you'll see what I'm talking about.

What is the logic to exclude the HOME mileage? I'm thinking that based upon your logic you will need to use Sumifs or Sumif formula

    Try this:

    =SUMIFS(H3:H27,D3:D27,"Home")+SUMIFS(H3:H27,C3:C27,"Home")
