I'm very new to this group and this is my first posting. I'm using an Excel spreadsheet that has dozens of columns of billing data. I attached an Excel sheet that illustrates a very small sampling of the type of data. This is not real data just names for this sample.
In particular, I need to find customers that have specific billing codes in both Column C and Column D within certain code ranges to pull for review. If the data in column C (codes are listed below for column C) match the following codes AND column D (codes are listed below for column D) match the following codes simultaneously, than the file needs to be reviewed. For example:
Column C has 98 different codes that are all 5 digits long. I need to identify all of the codes that are 11003, 11004, 11005, 11006, 99201, 99202 and 99232 AND I also have Column B that has 46 different codes that are all 5 digits long. I need to identify all of the codes that are 55003, 56009, 99223, 99234, 99345 and 99889. How do I identify those customers that meet both criteria? For example, I know rows 5, 6, 8, 42, and 52 meet the criteria. How do I identify these people by a formula? What type of formula do I need to use so column F is True or False? I will need to review the True data.
For the most part I have very large data sets. In addition, can I use the formula to look in several worksheets at once?
Thank you to the forum administrator for your help and guidance for this posting. It definitely makes more sense including sample data. Kat
