    need some help on formula

    Hi All

    I need some help

I got 2 excel work books.

    File1.xls is populated like this

    A1
    C:\map1\map2
    A2
    C:\map1\map3
    A3
    C:\map1\map3
    A4
    C:\map1\map4

    B1
    blank
    B2
    blank
    B3
    blank
    B4
    blank

    File2.xls is poplulated like this

    A1
    C:\map1\map2
    A2
    C:\map1\map3
    A3
    C:\map1\map3
    A4
    C:\map1\map4

    But the
B1,b2,b3,b4 are populated with emaladdresses matching the path

I want if A1 from File1 matches with A1 from File2 it adds the mail address from File 2 to File 1

The reason for that is that File 2 is file fully populated with email address some of the match with the path C:\map1\map2 etc some not.
