    Complex Daily Sales Report Help

    Dear All,

First time post ! Hello to all .....

I would to know whether or not someone is willing to help me with a spreadsheet I have made to record a stores daily sales report. All the formulas are working fine, but the problem begins when I need to make a new spread sheet for the new month. Its takes forever to put the formulas and the cross sheet references correctly. I have attached the spreadsheet, as an example of what I am doing. The summarised sheet is exactly that, picking up the inputted information from the other sheet, in the case Oct 1 and Oct 2. Obviously there are other sheets that complete this as there is one daily report for everyday of the month. Although I believe I am getting the correct information, with the formulas I am using, I am hoping that there is a quicker way to setup the summarised sheet to avoid making mistakes on the beggining of every month. All the formulas that are on the sheet are manually inputted. Please please help !!

    Hi

You could try using the indirect function. Something like
    C5: =INDIRECT("'" & $A$4 & " " & $A5 & "'!c1")

Once you have it correctly set up for the first row, then you only have to copy it down as required. The sheet names must conform to the correct structure.
