Question How to use find/replace to remove back carriages BUT make exception to bullet points?

Hi I'm new here so sorry if this has been answered somewhere but a lot of the time I'm finding the answer to the first part of my question and nothing more specific.

Basically I've got a lot of data in a spread sheet that has been copied from PDF so there are lots of line breaks/ back carriages.
To remove these I simply used find: ALT+0010 (line break code)
    Replace: ' ' - (a space).

The only problem is, its applied it to bullet point as well, for example:

    What I currently have in one typical cell (notice the sentence has random line breaks) ;

    Sentence blah blah blah
    blah blah look
    at the following:
    •bullet point 1
    •bp 2
    •bp 3
    •bp4

    What I need:

Sentence blah blah blah blah blah look at the following:

    •bullet point 1
    •bp 2
    •bp 3
    •bp4

What my current code/formula is doing/ resulting in:

Sentence blah blah blah blah blah look at the following: •bullet point 1 •bp 2 •bp 3 •bp4

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Before pasting it in excel I suggest you to paste it in Ms-Word and use some wild cards to remove the carriage returns and after that get the data to excel. Because editing data for excel requirement in word using wild card is so easy comparing to excel.

Here the one which will give you in depth detail about using wild card in word
    http://www.gmayor.com/replace_using_wildcards.htm

    Hope that helps!

    Hi WoW_Excel_girl88

Have a look at this site. You can copy and adjust your cell references
