Cool Removing the first 6 character of the id number

Do we have a formulae to remove a character? if there is, is there any way we can remove the first 6 digit character on column A and post the 7 up to last character in column C?. I'm trying to look for a better formulae since I will dump huge amount of data in column A and even call out the 7 up to last character in another worksheet.

Greatly appreciate your feedback on this.

This will just remove the first 6 characters

    =RIGHT(A2, LEN(A2)-6)

    Two more:
    =RIGHT(A2,6)+0
    =RIGHT(A2,FIND("_",A2))+0

Re: Removing the first 6 character of the id number

    Another

    =MID(A2,7,6)*1

The *1 converts the result into numeric so it can be omitted if you don't need that.
The 6 can be any number >= the number of characters needed. So you can use, say, 50 if you have varying lengths of strings.
