The rank of average ranks excluding empty cells but including their average.

    Hi every one

    E.g.

    A B C . . . . . AVERAGE
    1 3 4 5 4 (3+4+5)/3
    2 6 8 7 (6+8)/2
    3 9 10 13 10.66 (9+10+13)/3

    .
    .
    .
So as you can see above I want to exclude the empty cell number but do not lose balance over my average number. Any formoulas anyone? Please also advise how to deal when more than one empty cell in every row exist.
    Thank you in advance.

It's hard to see from the post, but does this help:

    =MEDIAN(A2:E2)

    or

=AVERAGE(B3:D3) (for same range as above, but without first and last cell)
