How to SUM if not all cells contains numbers

    Hi,

I'm trying to SUM a range of numbers in Excel 2010 by their category. But I have a problem: I can't easily SUM because not all of the cells contains a number (In some of them there is no number but "N/A")

I've attached an example to make it easier to understand.

I hope you can help me. Thanks.

    Regards,
    Peter Andrews.

    Something like:

    =SUMIFS(B:B,B:B,"<>#N/A",A:A,"E")
Where there is a will there are many ways.
