Something I missed or need to exclude?

With the help from this forum I was provided this macro solution.

I wanted to report that this macro worked great except for one quirk. I needed to add this macro in the Code_Mkt_table source file as the destination files are only temporary. I changed the macro name, range column, code_mkt range and destination column. When I run the macro from the active destination workbook it always prompts me to select the CODE_MKT_table file where it resides on the drive. I was under the impression if the source file was open, the macro would work and not prompt me like this. What am I missing in the vlookup array? As it works now once I select the CODE_MKT file the results appear instant and accurate on the destination workbook file. I just don't know why I have to point to the CODE_MKT file each time.

Thanks for your time in assisting me.

    Jim

We would love to help you with your query, but first, before we can proceed, please see the forum rules about proper thread titles and adjust accordingly...

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

    HTH
