Return a defined range of multiple cells

I need to return an array (Data base!B2:I21) of cells based on a product (Column A), the size of the array will vary depending on the product. The aim is the use a drop list/search, and macro to search or select data for a client, copy it and then paste it onto a list to show all the details of the products a client has selected. A draft is attached but the final copy will have around 250 products in, the largest array will be 15 rows (columns will always be 8). Costs.xlsx

Thanks in advance, and obviously let me know if you need more detail!

    Hi,

I don't think you need a macro or even a function for that, autofilter is just perfect for what you want. Just don't leave empty cells on the database sheet and apply autofilter on the used range. I'm thinking of something like this:example_pic.JPG

You don't even need more sheets, just always filter for the desired product in column A and you're done.

edit: I made up the numbers in the example of course.

Apologies for late reply, it was for a client so needed to be a bit flashy!
If anyone wants help with this problem let me know, it was solved with a mix of offset, index match and some sums!
