return date based upon look ups in 2 ranges

My apologies if this has been asked before.

I have the day of the week in cell C7 starting at Monday (F7,I7,L7&O7 are tues-fri). Data in B10:B14 - SICK - VACA - BAU - MEETING - PROJ. Data in C10:14, cooresponding hours for column B. 1st: i want to lookup column B and if it is "X" (for example VACA) and then lookup column C. If B=X and C>0, i want to put the date in C7 in cell X11.

2nd: move to the next day: F7. repeat but put VACA date in next available cell after X11. repeat for Wed-Fri. So if i was on VACA Tues-Thur. i would have the following: X11=Tuesday's date ex(10/1/12), X12=Wednesday's date ex(10/2/12), , and X13=Thursday's date ex(10/3/12).

AC11 would then reference the date of the last date pulled for the vacation. so with 10/1 to 10/3; AC11=10/3.
I think i have uploaded a file for an example to help visualize what i am talking about.

I appreciate the help. I have looked for hours at forums, but nothing i find fits exactly what i was looking for, else i just couldnt get it to work right.

    Thanks!!!!!

    Hi Mike,

    Welcome to the forum.
This thread has got 99 views but no replies,,, would you mind revisiting the details you provided in your question.
Looks like your query has two phases. .. put them one by one and as a generalised one.. like

if the b2 = x then do this and if (b2=x and c2>=0) the do this..
and show just this part in the workbook you upload.

    instead of

" 1st: i want to lookup column B and if it is "X" (for example VACA) and then lookup column C. If B=X and C>0, i want to put the date in C7 in cell X11.
