    Rental Spreadsheet

Hi. I am creating a spreadsheet for rental machines & need a formula to calculate if the hours used is less than or equal to 220, then multiply the hours used x $180. Then if the hours used is greater than 220, multiply 220 x $180 + hrs over 220, multiply $120 x additional hours. Any ideas on the formula to use? Thanks

    =if(a1>220,220*180+(a1-220)*120,a1*180)

    Hi Emmak153

Is this decimal time you are using or real time!

    Time: A1
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Wow. Thanks for your help! I forgot to mention if the hours used is less than 220, they will still be charged for 220 hrs. How would I calculate that? Thanks so much!

A picture may be worth a thousand words, BUT, a sample Workbook is worth a thousand screenshots!
