    Remove text from multiple cells

I need to remove the last bit of text from the contents of multiple cells in a column. In my attached example, I want to remove the last line break and the text "• List Price £", by processing all the cells in the column at the same time.

I can add text OK in Format: Cells: Number: Custom using @"text" but haven't been able to figure out how to remove text yet!

Many thanks. That nearly works, it does remove the bit of text on the end when I select multiple cells, but I'll have to press Return 6368 times! If it comes to it that's what I'll have to do.

    Why is that?

Doh! My fault, I hit Replace instead of Replace All - many thanks, that works a treat

Re: Remove text from multiple cells

I have a similar issue can you please advise as I cannot view the solution for this post.

The string is a set of numerical values (ie - 2015340144 and then on the end is ^P^D). I am wanting to remove the ^P^D at the end of each numerical value without having to go to each individual cell and remove manually. The string looks like this 2015340144^P^D and I would like the cells to return only the numerical portion in each.

    Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Dave
