    struggling with PMT function

    I'm using the PMT function but keeping getting an absurd result. Not sure where I'm making an error. Attempting to use to determine the payment on a home loan. Using as follows:

    B2 = -PMT (B6/B8, B9, B5)

    where B6 = 5, B8 = 12, B9 = 360, and B5 = $162,750.
    The result I'm getting for Payment is $ 67,812.50

    Change B6 to 5%

    Just to add a little more to the last reply

    It would seem that payments are monthly thus you would have to divide 5% by 12 and use 5%/12 in cell B6
