Good Morning,

I am a fairly beginner user, but have got myself in over my head on a cost/margin spreadsheet I created.
I am running Excel 2007 on a XP machine.

I'd love to attach a chunk of my spreadsheet to show you what I'm trying to do, but I'll start by describing my issues:

Cell F3 is a sum equalling Total cost (E3+C3+B3)

Cell G3 is Sell Price, calculated from =F3/((-(H$1)+100)/100) where H$1 represents a user selected profit margin

I then have H3 which is the Profit Margin with the following formula: =(G3-F3)/G3 formatted as a percentage

I would like H3 to represent the calculated value from G3 & F3 and not the user selected margin in H$1

I hope that someone can help me with this, like I said I think I'm a little over my head.
