Hyper link and dropdowns

Hello guys
This is my first post.
Here is my problem
I want to have a dropdown with a hyperlink in there so I can generate a letter Via the link.can some one explain ho this can be achieved

why don't you try entering the hyperlink in the cells and then creating a drop down based on these cells..

I'm not entirely sure that can be done, but I think we can get a good work-around by using the Hyperlink formula with input taken from the drop down. Could you upload your excel file?

if you try entering the hyperlink in the cells and then creating a drop down based on these cells, the hyperlink will not be 'live' / 'hot', in which case, as excelphile put it, the Hyperlink formula should work...
