Percentiles and scores IF Function

Hello - Thank you for taking the time out to read this post.

I have a table in sheet 1 with 1-100th Percentile in columns. The categories in Column 1/Rows are Teams. Based on what score a team received, I would like to pull out the appropriate corresponding percentile.

For example,

Team 1 might score 29.50 and when I look it up on my table, 29 comes 4 times with different percentiles. If Team 1 scored 29.50, which percentile would it fall in. Since 100/4 = 25, it would be the 2nd score/percentile.

Does anyone know a formula, so that when I enter a score in a2 to auto generate the percentile in b2?

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook. The workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

To attach a file to your post,

scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.

I basically would like to create a way, so that when I put in a score of a player, I want the correct percentile to show up from the percentiles sheet.
