In need of a formula to take increments of 100 of number

Hey all, I'm in need of a formula that will take the highest 100 number and take the remaining and put it in another cell if possible.

    For example:

    A1: $660

How would I go about taking $600 putting it into cell B1 and taking $60 into B2?

Therefore, every number I put in will be rounded down to the nearest 100 without completely getting rid of the remainder of the number. Is this possible or am I asking for too much? Any help would be much appreciated!

Re: In need of a formula to take increments of 100 of number

    In A1 cell
    $660

    In B1 cell
    =FLOOR(A1,100)

    In C1 cell
    =MOD(A1,100)

    Hope this helps!

Re: In need of a formula to take increments of 100 of number

    in b1 : =A1-MOD(A1,100)
    in c1 : =MOD(A1,100)

But Sixthsense "s solution is better
