Lookup function to pull in mutiple matching values in separate sheet

I have a question relating to a function in order to VLOOKUP to pull in more than one matching field on a separate sheet:

    Example:
    SHeet 1
    A- has symbols (input field)
    B- shares amounts

    Sheet 2
    A-has symbols
    B- shares amount

If i am to input a symbol in which there are mutilple matches is there a way to pull all of these matching values and not just the first one.. thank you

Yes, there are ways of doing this, but your examples above do not make a lot of sense to me. Could you upload a sample workbook to illustrate what you have and what you want to do with it (the FAQ describes how).

    TEST1.xls

This is the spreadsheet that I have been working on. As you can see i am trying to pull in all of the available matches for APPL that is located on the 3rd tab. I would like it to fill in shares, price, and rate (if one is avilable).

Please let me know if you can help, thank you
