Add days in between a date range

I am making an awards tracker. It occurs every three years unless you were overseas during that time. If so, the date continues once you return.

I've attached a file which shows what I'm using and an example of how it should look at the end. I've only done one overseas date on the example but there could be more than one date and they might both push the award date back.

I hope my sheet clarifies what I mean.
