Post copy data from one sheet to an other by matching Names

Hi I'm new here and I hope I'm posting in the right Section.
    I need your Help please.

I have 2 sheets well actually 2 different Excel files but I can merge them together. Anyway…
I need to copy a complete column to another sheet/file but the data have to match certain rows or names in the "new" sheet.

I uploaded my work, what I need is to copy Column D from Sheet 1 to Column D from Sheet2 so that the data in D match the one in A
Sheet4 is how I would sheet2 look like.

Thanks for the help in advance... A friend told me he did it with lookup but didn't say how....

this would be easier if you uploaded a work book but have you thought about index and match

don't used merged cells is total messes with excel ( i also think you sample might be to basic and there is a chance this wont transfer well to your real life example)

    however here is the result

    Book1 (2).xlsx

Well it did work many thanks, just noted that the Agent Number in sheet1 are sometimes not writen in the same way in the the other sheet ex.
Sheet1 2321716-I-DER (93073) and in Sheet Amount 2321716-DER (93073) and where is no comment and matching it was just replaced by a 0
