Greetings,
I'm tweaking a spreadsheet used at our office to only incorporate figures into a daily average that have been "scrubbed" financially.
In order to make it easy for the person handling the data input as well as visually clear, I'm aiming for a system in which she can simply select the cells that haven't been "scrubbed" and change the fill color to reflect that. Once that's done, I'd like the "daily average" figure at the bottom to only take into account cells with a blank/default fill color.
I stumbled upon these VBA functions as a means for detecting the background color of a cell, but I'm struggling to work them into my "AverageIf" statement. More specific to my spreadsheet, I'd like to write a formula that averages the values in the range G3:G33, but ignores blank cells, values of 0, and cells with a fill color other than blank/default.
Thanks for your time.
