Formula to 'Not include' a value

Hi all,
I am struggling with a formula which I'm sure is easy when you know! I have to update progress in a large spreadsheet each week (sample attached) and so I have put in a Variance column (E) to alert me of any progress change.
Can someone please help me to exclude the #N/A in the Variance column?
In the original spreadsheet, Column C has a vlookup to another tab to pull in the progress and Column D is a value only paste from the previous week's Activity % Complete (Column C).
I have tried a nested IF statement based on the D column value "#N/A", but no success.
Many thanks

not sure what you're formula looks like (like you said, no attachment lol), but try putting you're formula in an iferror() function...

=iferror(you're-formula,"")
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
