    Cell comparisions

    Hi have 5 values:

    Sold
    Unavailable
    Exclusive
    Non Exclusive
    Reserved

I want to create a formula that looks at the value in one cell, compares it to another and returns a value.

So if A1 has non exclusive and B1 has non exclusive it will return a value in C1, that says 'SELL', but if B1 sells exclusive then C1 will say 'HOLD'

The formula would need to allow for other combinations so that I can expand it for the other variables.

    Can any-one help?

    Ben

Here is some basic IF example. I don't know if that is what you are after.
