Help with cell actions based on other cell content

Many years ago I created the data in the attached spreadsheet but I have now forgotten how I created it and I would like to add it to a another worksheet.

If you type text in A5 the text will appear in B5 but only if certain conditions are met in the cells above.

Appreciate it if any one could remind me how I did it.

Your example has no data in. I don't know exacly what you mean.
Anyway, as per your describing, may be :
B5=IF(conditions are met,A5,"")

Sorry I should have made myself more clear, by data I meant the formulas or conditional formatting that I have used to make cells A5 and B5 work. Both A5 and B5 appear to be blank cells with no conditional formatting but if you type text in A5 a formula appears in B5 which is =A5.

I am asking for help to find out how I have done that.
