Help to add a value

Hi all out there!

Here come a question from one who use excel as a calculator mostly but now I need help

I have a column that contain values in the format like 21.09. (xx.xx.)

I need to add 2011 after the last point in all cells that contain a value in this format. I am sure it is possible but my knowledge is way to limited

Are those meant to be dates?
Are the values stored as dates, and just not showing year?
Do you want them stored as dates, or with the decimal points?
Are the values anywhere, or isolated to a single column/row?
What other type of formatted data are in that row/column?
