    Excel Formula

I have an excel spreadsheet that have two headings - Notionals and Remaining Days. I am trying to group the notionals in different dates as there are numerous days ranging from 8 to 400 days. I am trying to create a formula whereby these days will group in different ranges e.g 8-31, 32-65; 65-87 etc. and calculate the correct notionals and place them in the correct buckets.

What function do I use and how to do it? I was trying SUMIF and VLOOKUP but I seem to be doing something incorrectly.

    Thanks

    Kevin
