Using =WEEKNUM but starting from October instead of January

I'm after some help please, if anyone can with =WEEKNUM. I’m after three things that are defeating me:
1)Week 1 has to start in October
2)I would like to count my weeks cumulatively to date and therefore past 52 weeks
3)Saturday has to be day 1.
I could cope/work around points 2 and 3 but really need point 1. I've tried a dozen iterations today but can't jag anything that works.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

this website has everything you want. I would go with "Week number from date", where you can specify the first day of the first week in the formula.

Re: Using =WEEKNUM but starting from October instead of January

try this to start...it does not calculate years difference, but should accurately give you the week number of the year from your start date:

    =WEEKNUM(currentdate-startdate)

    Hope this helps

    Hi Shotlod,

    Try this as well:-

    =WEEKNUM(C5-274,15)

where C5 is the date for which you need week number ... thanks.
