IF Then Function with multiple Truths

    Hello,

I am having some difficulty trying to figure out a certain formula

I want to do the following

I enter data in 3 columns
    (Cases, Boxes, Pieces)
    A1 B1 C1

I want to know if its possible to have a function that will populate boxes E1 F1 G1 with the following logic:

If A1>0 Then enter the value in A1 into E1, Then multiply the value A1 by 4 and enter that result into F1, Then multiply the value in A1 by 48 and enter that result into G1

If B1>0 Then Divide the value in B1 by 4 and enter that result into E1, then enter value of B1 into F1, Then multiply the value in B1 by 12 and enter that result into G1

If C1>0 Then divide the value in C1 by 48 and enter that result into E1, then divide the value in C1 by 12 and enter that result into F1, and enter the value in C1 into G1

I hope you guys can follow it..

    Reference:
    1 Case = 4 Boxes = 48 Pieces

    Any suggestions are appreciated!!

Will you only have one entry in cells A1, B1 and C1, or might you have a value in more than one of these cells? (so if you had 1, 4, 48 in those cells, that would be equivalent to 3 cases, 12 boxes, 144 pieces ?)

Re: IF Then Function with multiple Truths

    That's correct Pete.

    If A1 = 1 B1 will always equal 4 and C1 will always equal 48
    If A2 = 2 B1 will always equal 8 and C1 will always equal 96
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    If A2 = 9 B1 will always equal 36 and C1 will always equal 432
    _________________________________________________

    If A1 = 1 then, B1 = (A1*4), C1 = (B1*12)
    If B1 = 1 then, A1 = (B1/4), C1 = (B1*12)
    If C1 = 1 then, A1 = (B1/4). B1 = (C1/12)

Re: IF Then Function with multiple Truths

    Try this'
    In e1 : =A1+(B1/4)+(C1/48)
    In F1 : =(A1*4)+B1+(C1/12)
    In G1 : =(A1*48)+(B1*12)+C1

copy down as far as needed

    Hope this helps
