Count "yes" values from multiple columns

    Hello,

I am trying to count the number of "yes" values from multiple different columns, and put the sum in a different column. Here is a sample of what my spreadsheet needs to look like:

Gene Total Yes Values Screen 1 Screen 2 Screen 3 Screen 4
    Name

    Magi1 1 Yes
Zfp 4 Yes Yes Yes Yes
    Ghrargep 1 Yes
    Cmp 1 Yes
    Cnt4 3 Yes Yes Yes

I should also mention that there are other columns between each screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Erik Thomas

    Try the COUNTIF/COUNTIFS functions
