Hidden cells

So what I'm trying to do is have a cell that has certain content. But I want subcontent hidden unless someone clicks a button or link, which will then drop down below the cell in the same column. It would also be great if it were possible if when the content dropped down a new column appeared right next to it with additional content. Is this possible?

i doubt it. perhaps you could upload a sample workbook, showing what you have, and some examples of what you want
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
    2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

    Re: Hidden cells

This is a really simplified version. So row 1 would be the main viewable content. Rows 3 to 5 are what I want hidden unless you click something. As you can see, row 2 has a new header compared to the header for row 1.

To confirm, I know you can hide and unhide cells, but I want to be able to do it straight from the actual cell

Would and If/Then statement with a drop box work?

    Re: Hidden cells

I don't think that you can do this using formulae.

One way for doing this is in the example sheet.
