conditional formating for text in cell---please help

I have attached the document with text within on what i am trying to acheieve. Im not sure if people are just not reading full text or are suppliying a formula but does not check to make sure it works. They will reply and then i get no one else looking at it. Yes, i know i can google and READ up on conditional formating, i understand that, i thought that the whole point of this forum is to get expert advise and suggestions. Telling someone to google or read up is not helping. I have done some light reading taking the suggestions of others and lack of resonses to the post, most the stuff i find is for numbers not text, I.E if <85 highlight row. I am fairly new to this forum and have used it a couple times in the past and have had great success with formulas and im sure there is someone that can help with this as well. Thanks in advance.

Re: 3rd time submitting conditional formating for text in cell---please help

    Hello Anthony,

OK, I see you have some other threads with the same question as you mention - please stick with this thread now until your question is resolved.

I think that the previous suggestion is correct - the required formula is

    =$P2="Void"

......but that has to be done in conjuction with the correct "Applies to" range. The formula, as written, is always applied to the top left cell of that range, and then adjusted for the rest of the range, so it needs to be set to start at row 2 also.

I used an "applies to" range of $A$2:$AD$9999 and deleted all other conditional formatting - see attached - try putting "Void" anywhere in column P
