to lock columns from table for sumif function

    hi there,
per attached I have created a table with a number of columns incl date and invoice amount with numerous invoices of different dates and amounts. on another tab I have months of the year in columns for months of the year. I have a sumif to sum all invoice amounts into the relevant month. in past (before I converted range to table) I used normal sumif and could lock the date and amount column in range by using absolutes ($) to copy formula across for months in the other tab. now with data being pulled from table it scrambles the columns as it is not transposing correctly (see yellow cells). can I lock table ref's in sumif formula?

Im sure some-one will tell you how to do this in table-ese, but I often just type in the range that I need

so try and replace INV_table[[ Date formatted]]
    with INV summary'!D5:D11
