if date col is monday sum current and 6 previous daily amounts to determine weekly amount

I am trying to create a formula for cells in a column that determines if the date in this row is Monday and if true sums the values in another column and the 6 previous values in that column to determine the weekly value for the week ending on that Monday (value to include the Monday value of that week. Thanks for any assistance.

Without your sheet it's hard to give you precise advice, but you'd probably want the WEEKDAY function.

So with, say, your date in A1 ... =IF(WEEKDAY(A1)=2,"Monday","Not Monday")

Or use a function like weeknumber to determine your week.

Then you can count on this column (the week).

But, without your sheet it's hard to give you precise advice.
